This piece relates to the theme 'Inside' because it explores a secret inner conversation between a woman's idea of self, societal expectations, and the expectations of a romantic partner.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Hannah ThomasClarke is a nationally exhibited fiber artist. Her work examines the inner workings of the 'domestic sphere' and how desire and expectations can often contradict one another. Hannah draws inspiration from her own experience, her job as a nanny, and classic cinema. Hannah finished a year long residency program at McGuffey Arts Center in Charlottesville Virginia.
