“It’s not a big deal…”

Poetry
ARTIST STATEMENT
This work was written on March 5, 2020 after returning home from the last public event I attended before self-isolating for the pandemic. I am immunocompromised, hard-of-hearing, and a daily survivor of PTSD who lives "inside" many walls that others cannot perceive. I hope that continuing to freely express my thoughts and feelings might make some of these things more seen.
