Have you wanted to explore printmaking, but just don’t have the materials or maybe feel like it’s too hard?!
Join us for a printmaking play day and get creative with us! MALA LECHE and guest instructor Abigail Wilson are bringing everything you need for hours of printmaking experimentation and discovery. Learn the basics of relief block printing, collagraph, and stenciling, then immediately put your skills to use. Printmaking is inherently democratic, and Abigail will show you how to get your ideas out there with materials you already have in your home.
Abigail Wilson (she/they) is a printmaker, illustrator, and writer who loves sharing creativity with whoever wants to join. Curiosity and play form the foundation of both her teaching and personal practice, bringing us all closer to the reality of joy. Abigail engages with the creative process as community healing, expansion of consciousness, and a bridge to a better world.
